花蓮強震，導致台9線、台8線路段崩塌中斷。其中台九線"下清水橋"，經過工程人員積極搶修，用舊橋當作"通行便道"加固，在周六傍晚已經開放小客車單線雙向通行。另外台8線九曲洞以及天祥路段也陸續搶通，不過九曲洞西口路段還有3處坍方，餘震不斷，能不能通車還要重新評估。
